Holy cow, Nano starts tomorrow. I am SO UNDERPREPARED *hysterical laughter*

But East's sister's name is Pearl!

Now I just need names for the rest of the characters and all of the important places XD

Happy Halloween and happy Samhain! We buried an apple on a hill for the passing spirits. Then we put the jack-o-lanterns we carved last night with

minyan on the porch and lit them :) One is still lit! Probably the one with the huge-ass candle in it. I also had some hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick in it. It was delightful.

Off to plan more for Nano! Thank you all for your great questions and suggestions on my last post :)

caitirin saw them; she reported that they were dressed up like a skeleton and an insane clown. Meanwhile,

minyan and I were washing pumpkin seeds to make into yummy spicy baked pumpkin seeds :) We carved pumpkins (Minyan made a pooka! It's so cute! Caitirin did a lovely moon and stars, and I did an angry fangy face with bags under its eyes) and made caramel apples and talked about writing and movies and old television shows :)

It was an all-around lovely evening. Now it's time for bed!
