astillac convinced me to do Illustration Friday with her, and I'm wicked excited about it :3 It's a weekly art challenge with a prompt word, and I'm going to be posting them here (hopefully) before the end of Thursday every week. Here's this week's attempt! The prompt was "wilderness".

Ooo, I love it! In particular, those puffy sleeves are gorgeous, and the way she blends into the grass...Except for the straw in her mouth, I could totally see her as Alice (as in Lewis Carroll), actually. Though perhaps a slightly older version. Though I also agree with caitirin, she DOES look like a Lizzie.

Ooh, I never thought of the Alice angle! That's really a cool idea! I can see that too. We have Caitirin to thank for the puffy sleeves as well :)
