I hadn't submitted many icons to utena_hush lately, owing to vacations and being in Colorado and all that, but I submitted a few for last week's challege. Here they are. No winners this time.

The theme for this batch was "Childhood." Next week it'll be "Split Personalities," and I'm looking forward to that one! Man, there are ALL these really great icon challenge communities that I've joined, and I just know that I won't have time to even participate in one of them once school starts.

caitirin has a doctor's appointment this morning, so she dropped me off at work. Which was nice, as it's raining, and I usually have to walk almost the entire length of the campus to get from the parking lot to my building.

A Question of the Moment, because dakegra is away, and inspired by my current transcription project, which features a guy who grew up in the same area I did.

Is the phrase "down cellar" to mean "in/to the basement" strange to your ear, or perfectly normal? Usages would be:

"Where's Dad/the cat/the vaccuum cleaner?"
"Down cellar."

Or

"Where are you going?"
"Down cellar."

It's used sort of as a companion to "upstairs" in that it can mean a place and a direction.

I'm wondering if this is a regional thing or not.
