Guess who got her diploma in the mail today? And who (weirdly enough) was remarking to caitirin as we walked to the car this afternoon that she hadn't gotten her diploma yet, and who was talking to _melisande_about it last night?

^_^ Guess they won't withhold a diploma if you haven't brought your campus mailbox key back yet. I'll have to remember to do that.

Also, I spent all day moving all my important DJ posts over to LJ, only to find near the end of them that I formatted them funny and they have weird spacing e_e Must... not... let... analness... drive self crazy.

Also, for the record, Serial Experiments Lain is one upfucked little anime. It's seriously getting to the point where we're going "Okay, guys, you'd better start making some sense or ELSE." Because it's starting to move out of the interestingly mysterious range and into the freaking frustrating range because we never know what the hell is going ON. Or as Caitirin put it:

"It's taking a left turn off the WTF highway onto the Turnpike of Incomprehensibility."

I think the fact that one of the episodes we saw tonight was like fifteen seconds of animation and then five minutes of weird Roswell history with psychedelic manipulated live footage, repeated, for the whole 30 minutes. Bwah.

I see things that kind of really crazy ambiguous and I just think the writers were lazy and didn’t want to figure out so they put random stuff in until it exploded. (By this I mean the stuff that’s just AMBIGUITY~WOOO~AMBIGUITY~END! No things that are ambiguous and then explain some.)

You mean the graduate hats? Yeah ^_^ Mine at that moment was metaphorical, but I did get to keep the square cap thingamajig. Well, if you throw it, you probably won't get to keep it, but since I didn't actually go to the graduation ceremony, I didn't throw it ^_^

We had to read a book like that in English this year and everyone was singing it's praises for being different and I just thought it was bad. ^^;;

Yeah, the tassels are great ^_^ In college, you get a huge tassel that goes around your neck, so you don't even need to worry about losing it on your hat.
