Weiss Kreuz original music videos
May. 16th, 2010 08:17 pmWhy, brain? Why must you fixate on such an ancient, awful anime when there are so many good ones out there that I haven't seen yet?
Oh well XD
I discovered that among the twelve billion things created for the Weiss Kreuz franchise, there were four Original Music Videos commissioned by the creators, each done by a different director and animation crew (I think). Two of them seem to be little more than stills with flashy Photoshop effects applied to them, but two of them are pretty cool. Incidentally (pfft, yeah right) those two involve Schwarz. For your viewing pleasure...
This one, "Tokyo Sling," has the best animation of the four. It features Aya looking very drugged and Schuldig caressing his forehead (presumably he's about to mess around in Aya's brain... that's the only explanation I can come up with). Plz to be watching for the blood wings, they're probably the awesomest thing we get visually from Weiss ever.
The animation in this one's kind of wonky, but at least they're moving. It's a series of fight scenes between Weiss and Schwarz, culminating in Crawford trying to gatotsu Aya. I'm not kidding. My fandoms, they are colliding! *imagines a Crawford and Saitou swordfight* *nosebleed*

Date: 2010-05-23 02:22 pm (UTC)The blood wings were pretty amazing! I hadn't read your comment (thoroughly, I guess), and the first thing I thought was "Wow, Aya looks SO stoned ..."
Crawford IS doing a gatotsu! *laughs*

Date: 2010-05-24 12:03 am (UTC)The music is SO recognizable! I need to buy more of it (I wonder if they still sell CDs from anime that old...) The voice actors have such an amazing ability to harmonize, and they either hit it dead on or they SUCK. There are some songs that sound like four middle schoolers made to sing a song they've never heard before off a piece of paper. And yet, then there are songs like Beautiful Alone, the first ending song, that are ridiculously well done. It's a crap shoot, I guess XD
Gatotsu Crawford! *waves arms*
