Art Improvement meme

This meme has been going around DeviantArt (filled in by much more talented people than I) and I thought it would be fun to do :) It's a tall image file with little thumbnails of pictures I've done year by year, four per year, since 2003. I discovered that my computer didn't hold on to "date created" information for anything that I moved over onto my first Macbook in 2007, so it was kind of hard to figure out what pictures came from which year O_o So there may be one or two that are off a year or so. Anyway! Big image under the cut, and listing of who's in each picture following.

I love seeing things that show how I've actually improved :3 I haven't done much coloring lately, but I've gotten better at drawing people that are supposed to look like actual actors! XD And Victorians. Wonder how that happened?

I think, in particular, that you should make a large-size version of the first panel image for 2009 and turn it into a printed poster.

Thank you so much! :D That's an awesome idea... I like the uncropped version of that picture a lot, too, and the glowy cigarette thing took me forever and I was very pleased with it. I never thought of doing anything with it, though! Thank you ^_^

*happy sigh* Elle dahling, I so love your artses. Naturally the Holmes-and-Watson's are my favorites--I second the desire for a poster of the Match pic--but all of your characters have so much personality! I'm particularly intrigued by the first young lady in 2006--tell me about her?

The girl in the first 2006 picture is Trinny, who pretty much only exists to sing songs in my head. When I listen to music, especially Japanese music, I often imagine somebody singing the songs, and she's reserved for songs by an artist called Yuki, one called Shinohara Tomoe, and one or two songs by Natalie Imbruglia :3 She doesn't have a lot of development except that she's half Japanese (from her father) and half white American (from her mother) and her last name is Ishigawa. She once featured in a very short attempt at Script Frenzy that Caitirin and I attempted, and I think she was a music student in college. Thank you for asking, acushla :3

This is very interesting to see how your style has changed over the years. And ZOMG mad coloring skillz! I have seen most of these of course, but there are some that I haven't - among those the 2008 one of Duo, which I adore, and the 2009 one of Mirai. She reminds me of someone in this, but I can't think who right now.
