My very first piece of Bunny and Raffles fanstuffs! Art, as it often is, because writing is harder for my brain to handle.


I started this last weekend, on Friday night at the hotel at Rhinebeck when caitirin and hak42 were being all yarncrafty and we were sitting in the breakfast area at the hotel hoping other Ravelry people would show up and hang out with us.

I'm amused by how much Bunny hates those masks. And I'm not at all positive what they're really supposed to look like (there's a picture from CHAS of Holmes and Watson all decked out in cops-and-robbers-style masks that just go over the eyes, and I was like "Are you serious?" Yes, those will be very helpful for concealing your identity!)

Raffles is talking about burglary, I swear.


[edit: Crappity crap, I forgot to shade in Raffles's hair! *facepalm* Holmes, too, often suffers from this problem. Why do I always do that?]

I suspect that Raffles has a little thing for seeing Bunny in a mask:

"Bunny, it's the psychological moment. Where's that mask?"

I produced it with a hand whose trembling I tried in vain to still, and could have died for Raffles when he made no comment on what he could not fail to notice. His own hands were firm and cool as he adjusted my mask for me, and then his own.

"By Jove, old boy," he whispered cheerily, "you look about the greatest ruffian I ever saw!"

But I do love the sly little smirk on your Raffles' face as he brings up the mask on Bunny's face....

EEEEE!!!! Your Bunny is PERFECT--so very sweet-faced and innocent, but not TOO boyish--and I LOVE Raffles' delicious deviousness, and the slashtastic pose, OMG (Raffles looks ready too eat Bunny alive. Which, frankly, is EXCELLENT by me XD). <3<3<3 Gorgeous, dahling! Moremoremore!!!

Bwee! *dances around* Thank you XD I'm so glad you liked it! I'm pretty pleased with Bunny too. Raffles doesn't look like I think he looks, but then again, I don't imagine them in anime-style, so I had to translate. I think Raffles is often ready to eat Bunny alive XD

I love their expressions, as even though I know only the smallest bit about them, I can tell exactly what each is thinking. I love Raffles' hair - so wavy! Raffles' hands and the forearm with the rolled-up sleeve make me swoon. ;)

And omg, the mask! As caitirin so aptly noted, no eyeholes! Naughty, naughty, naughty!

Raffles looks so rakish, and Bunny looks so innocent and cute!

On a random note, I'm not neglecting your posts on purpose. They just take more response than a "oh that's nice", and I've made a note to come back to them. *loves*

Raffles is ALWAYS referring to burglary as "the game," and it's unintentionally hilarious at times. And he has pretty curly hair XD Bunny's always going on about how handsome he is.
