Tempeh win!

I made tempeh for dinner tonight and it actually turned out really well! We'd made it once before, and it was okay, but it wasn't fantastic. The way they cook it at this vegan restaurant around here is utterly divine, and I asked how they did it, and they said they just used nutritional yeast and salt, so when we were in Portsmouth this morning, we stopped by the natural food store and got some of the former. We also picked up various vegetables on the way home to use in a stir fry.
I cut the tempeh up in tiny little bits, 1/4 inch by 1/2 inch-ish, and fried it in a little oil with a mixture of nutritional yeast and this seasoning salt that we really like. Then I stir-fried red and green bell peppers, onion, zucchini, summer squash, winter broccoli (*laughs* because it's neither summer nor winter!), and radicchio (yeah, I don't know... it was pretty in the store and looked like cabbage, and it turned out good). I also threw some of the nutritional yeast/seasoning mixture into it, because I didn't want any soy sauce today. While that was cooking, we heated up some noodles in a pan and put the vegetables on top of the noodles, and the tempeh on top of it all. It was DELICIOUS. *proud of self, as was quite skeptical that this would come out edible*
