School

School starts tomorrow! I sure hope I'm ready.

And I so have nothing intelligent to talk about.

We
watched Lawrence Olivier's Hamlet this afternoon. It's so... very...
uh... old movie-like. They take out all my favorite lines, though, the
bastards, but I'm used to that. They kept one or two things I didn't
expect, and changed some idiotic stuff because obviously the plebeian
audience can't remember that when Hamlet says "I'll make a ghost of him
who lets me" he doesn't mean "who lets me go where I'm trying to get"
but "who keeps me from getting there". And Claudius SUCKED. He was
horrible. Laertes was pretty good, but only because he angsted
decently. And Hamlet, of course, was very melodramatic and had too much
makeup, but very sexy legs. Ophelia was a twit. I don't know how Kate
Winslet manages to play Ophelia not being a twit (I'm not sure what she
DID play Ophelia as, but I didn't want to backhand her) because
apparently no one else can do it. I just don't know what you're
supposed to do with Ophelia. Thank god I don't ever plan on playing her.

Almost have my mood icon set finished. I'll have it done someday, I swear.
