I have a long book journally post written up, but that's for another time, because I want to play Zelda. For now! Another dream. This one was much nicer, in a weird "You people should be dead, right? Eh, oh well!" sort of way.
I dreamed I was walking down Chauncy Creek Road, only it was much more open and grassy and less closed-in and wooded. I was walking along and I was trying to avoid my great aunt, who lived (in my dream) in a very big house on the side of the road opposite to the creek. She actually lived in this house when I was really little. My great-grandmother and great-grandfather lived in the house right before it, where in actuality my great aunt lives now (they lived there in real life when she lived in the big house and she and my great uncle moved down there to take care of my great-grandfather after my great-grandmother died).
Anyway, I went up to my great-grandmother's house because she had this incredible garden, and I wanted to look around in it. Then she came out in gardening clothes. I was kind of like "Oh crap" because I thought she'd be of the same mind as my great-aunt, that is, all "gay people are disgusting and I'll just ignore the important parts of my family's life if I don't want to deal with them." I'm not positive what she looked like in real life, but in my dream she had short wavy white hair and was tallish and thin.
She said she found out that Caitirin and I were getting married, and she thought it was wonderful and wanted to come to the wedding. I was so happy that she wasn't mad or anything. Then my great-grandfather came out and he was wearing a red sweater like my grandfather (his son) used to wear, and he looked the way he looked in real life only less, um, creepy and veiny. I was afraid he'd be all grumpy like I remember him, but he was very nice and he hugged me. There was another old man there who was even older than they were (he must have been ANCIENT, because they were pretty old) and he was wearing a tan windbreaker and was kind of happily senile. I think we were trying to keep him from messing with the flowers, which were mostly dead because it was winter but were dried and pretty.
It was a nice dream :)
No more work until after Christmas! Whee! I had a relaxing day today. I talked to a tree.
Time to play Zelda!
