Theatre dream variations

I have to write up the dream I had last night, because it was just THAT strange. Many of you know I have recurring dreams that I'm in a play that begins in anywhere between two or three days and a couple of minutes, and I'm either expected to suddenly remember lines I memorized years ago or I didn't memorize my lines in the first place. This variation, however, was significantly more amusing.
In my dream, I was either in a play or watching the rehearsals of a play which starred Geoffrey Rush as Dracula, and Louis and Lestat as Louis and Lestat, all aboard a pirate ship. Geoffrey Rush was also actually Dracula. This was a secret, however! The three of them knew the other ones were in real life the characters they were playing, but no one else did, so they took great pains to keep it secret. Anyway, in the play, there was a scene at the end where Dracula escapes from the pirate ship on horseback. He gets away because the pirate ship is so well-made and sturdy that the horse's hooves don't make any noise on the deck.
It's dress rehearsal, the night before opening night. There are five main characters - the three vampires, a strapping Spanish bad guy, and the main girl (who I think I was playing). Right before rehearsal, Geoffrey Rush!Dracula, Lestat, and Louis were off cavorting and drinking blood. They showed up and the dress rehearsal started, but then the director showed up with these photographs someone had taken of the three of them in some kind of bloody orgy in a coffin. They were all kind of like "OH CRAP" but the director thought they were just brilliant publicity photos. The vampires were all "AH HA HA OF COURSE THEY ARE." At this point, the rehearsal resumes and Geoffrey Rush pulls off his hair (O.o), revealing himself to be bald except for a low ponytail. He has this map tattooed on his scalp and Chinese characters branded branded into his skin. Then he jumps on his horse and rides away, escaping from us because the ship is so well-made that his horse's hooves make no sound.
Just like in the play! How clever he is!
So the rest of us are kind of like "Great, now what?" And then Lestat runs off too. Brat. So now we've got Louis, who is not so useful, and me and the strapping Spanish villain. And we're like "We have three out of five main characters! We can still pull this off! Right? Right?"
We go back to our hotel rooms for the night, and I think I was with my parents. The strapping Spanish guy and Louis had their own rooms. I remember being really worried because Lestat had a key to all of our rooms, and I was afraid he was going to come and steal our stuff in the night! I should have been more worried he would come and steal Louis in the night and then we'd only have two cast members.
Anyway, that was where it ended. When I woke up, I told
caitirin all about it and she laaaaaughed and laaaaaaughed.
