*watches bits of the Ian McKellen Macbeth*

Macduff/Malcolm OTP!!

Only because Roger Rees plays the gayest Malcolm EVAR. I swear all that talk about wanting to shag every woman in the country to throw Macduff off was also major overcompensation.

I've been thinking about creating a Shakespeare art community. Because I can't find one. For people who like drawing or seeing or displaying or finding pictures of Shakespearean characters. That would mean I'd have to get off my butt and draw that Macduff and Ross picture I've been planning, though... *shifty look*

Going to work on [livejournal.com profile] hak42's picture today, I think.

I like that version, though they took out that bit of Lady Macduff dialouge that I really liked. Ah well. ^^ Did you ever see that modern version...I think it was called Scotland, PA?

Yes, I did! That was WHACK. And only funny if you know the original play, so I was amused.

The witches rocked.

I loved the witches! And the sons.

Yes! They were really fantastic! Just goes to prove that ONE of Duncan's sons is gay, at any rate.

I can't remember what the second son was like in the play. Eep, I can't even remember his name. ^^;;

He didn't do very much at all. Donalbain ^_^ He just ran off to somewhere (France?) and never came back.

Oh yes! I remember their scene in the Ian McKellen one now. I also remember they made Duncan so very white and innocent looking. That was one part I really didn’t like about the play. I mean, you don’t get to be king of Scotland at that time being nice and innocent and white line shining down on thee. Woo, that was random. ^^;;

Hahaha, you're so right ^_^ Duncan seemed all nice and feeble in that. And Malcolm wore a big fluffy white turtleneck.
