Shiny rocks
Aug. 6th, 2007 10:36 pmOne of these days, I'm going to post about the shiny rocks I bought when we were on vacation. I want to look up what kinds they are and what they represent or are used for in healing stone practices (I know there's got to be a better word for that, but I don't know it).
Like, for example, carnelian is said to inspire courage and confidence and to protect the wearer from all types of negativity. I got some really pretty carnelians (more because of Byron than because of what they were for, but the guy at the shop told me just to pick ones I was drawn to and ignore what they said on the tags).
Also, I have the cutest girlfriend on the face of the earth.

Date: 2007-08-07 09:48 pm (UTC)Like one stone I have is a rather beat up old piece of fluorite that's been a useful worrystone-- it called to me because it helps stabilize and channel emotions. ^_^ (hope that was coherent)
*curious* What other shinys did you get?
