Collected dream post and other things

A post of many subjects! First of all, I keep forgetting to write down these dreams I've been having. One is yet another bad HP fanfic-dream, so I thought that would be amusing for some of you, and the other one was kind of neat too.
In this dream, I was Harry, and Ron, Hermione, and I were on our way to class through what was some kind of huge garden when we came across Snape's cookie shop ... seriously. Where this came from, I have no idea. Anyway, I (Harry) was looking at some cookies that were in boxes in a case that was kind of like a huge CD rack. They were flat shortbread cookies with chocolate on the bottom, the square kind. Then we had to run off the class. On the way back after class, we passed the store again, and we saw Draco go in with his father and mother. I snuck in after him and watched as Lucius made some transactions with Snape and menaced Draco. Then Lucius and Narcissa left, and Draco was all "I really want some cookies, but I have no money, and I'm abused and mistreated." *tear* So Snape kind of sighed in exasperation and told him to just take the damn cookies, and all he'd charge him was five skeins of yarn. Dunno where that came from either. And that was the end.
In this dream,
caitirin and I could fly. We were up at my parents' house, and there was this small town near their house which isn't actually there, but in the dream, it was kind of like a strip mall. We could fly by jumping into the air and then stretching our legs out, which made us go higher. The harder you stretched your legs, the higher you would go. So we flew around over the town for a little bit and then took this road off into the forest.
After we'd gotten a little way, we saw a graveyard off to the left. The road was in a valley between two steep tree-covered slopes, but the graveyard was in an area that looked like it had been carved out of the side of the slope. Everything was very green and mossy and overcast, though it had been sunny in the town. The graveyard area was very narrow, also, and there was a bridge of land that had been left a few hundred feet up the slope so it was like an archway leading into the graveyard. We had been flying down the road and we were at level with this when we saw the graveyard, and then we landed on the road in front of it. The graveyard itself had many hills and different levels, and had two paths that went to the back of it against both side walls.
At this point, I told
caitirin that we couldn't go into it because I couldn't fly in a graveyard. She said she wanted to check it out, though, so we walked inside. In the middle, there was this huge obelisk of land (rock, grass, moss etc) with a stone statue of a woman at the top. She had something in her hand that she was holding up, but I don't remember what it was. We wanted to see if we could fly up to look at it. We never did, though.
We walked up the left-hand path, which sloped upward. We also had to climb up steps at various points when the level of the graveyard changed. There were mostly above-ground mausoleum type things, the rectangular kind that sometimes lead down into crypts. Many of them were broken and you could see into them, and I was scared of them as usual. There was a mummy in the back that was on display or something, but it was encased in something like amber, so it didn't frighten me that much. We wandered around the back and were coming back down when I realized that
caitirin wasn't with me, even though I was still holding onto her arm O.o She was back a ways looking at something, and she came back over and stuck her arm back on.
Then I was with my mother instead of with
caitirin, and she had found this tiny treasure chest up in one of the different layers of the graveyard. Inside of it were three little pieces of metal that looked kind of like blue bismuth, but were actually character keychains. Or they turned into character keychains. Something like that. Anyway, one of them was a figurine of Sanosuke. Apparently my mother's online Fruits Basket friends (who I imagine are all lovely people in real life) had conspired to hide this from her because they said you could only have two keychains, and they had to be a boy and a girl - and my mum already had one that was a boy. So they had hidden the directions to this graveyard and the map with the treasure on it from her. I was incredibly angry with them, but then in treasure chest we also found a little metal box that had a rose signet inside of it. I didn't put it on because I was wearing my engagement ring, but I was so delighted to find this and even more angry that those people had tried to keep it from my mother *laughs*
Yesterday, we went to the movies and saw The Wicker Man. It was very enjoyable, though I still had a lot of questions at the end of it. It wasn't as "make you jump and scream" scary as we expected, but it was pretty scary in the "horrifying to think about" kind of way. I actually kind of preferred that, because I didn't have to be cringing that something was going to jump out at me throughout the entire thing. There were also scenes were I was glad not to have to worry about somebody catching the main character snooping around - I hate when you know that's going to happen. And Nicholas Cage continues to impress me with his acting. He was a more realistic character in that movie than I've seen in a really long time.
