Ohgod.
I came into the office this morning to find an inch-and-a-half-long wasp buzzing in my window. It was trapped between the screen and my inside window, which is open for the AC tube to be crushed into.
Or at least, I THOUGHT it was trapped.
It somehow got up onto the inside of the top half of the window while I was trying to find something to block up the cracks between the air conditioner hose panel and the window. It was one of those gigantic, black thin-waisted ones with the mottled brown wings. I could see its bloodthirsty little eyes.
I caught it in a plastic water cup and brought it outside. Not because I'm particularly philanthropic, if that's even the word, when it comes to wasps - I just know that they don't usually die when you hit them with something. And god knows the only things I've got to hit one with over here are Save The Date cards and manilla folders.
Now I'm jumping at every little sound.
And I just realized that the reason the AC isn't working is because the hose fell out of the back of it, probably when I was trying to neutralize the wasp >_< *swears and forces it back together* At least I have practice doing this, right
