This morning, I said to

caitirin, "I had Satan dreams last night." She looked at me like O.o and asked me to repeat myself, and then replied, "That's what I thought you said."

The dream started out much stranger and less coherent than it ended. I was at a house with a big garden terrace out front, and I was with another person. There was this lion (yes, a lion) who the person I was with had told that their mate/loved one had been killed. He did this, even though it wasn't true, in order to make the lion mad enough so he could kill it. We were standing out in the garden, and it was dark and stormy, when we heard this deafening roaring coming. We knew it was the lion, who had turned almost monster-like because of how angry it was. So it showed up, fought with the guy I was with, and he slit its throat (or something).

Then we took it to the hospital, and at that point, it was a human man. He looked kind of like Squall, only with darker brown hair. The doctors were going to perform surgery on him in order to either fix up his wounds or make it so he wasn't evil (not sure how this works), but it was clear that they were too late (dun dun duuuunn).

There was a doctor woman who was obviously quite evil herself, all corporate conspiracy powerful scariness, and she had a little lacky type dude. They were about to go get the guy for surgery (either that, or they had just finished his surgery) and the lacky asked the doctor woman, "What should we do about his... on his back?"

And she said, "Cut them off."

Then (it was more like a movie I was watching now, and this is where it was CG) the camera pans through the door behind her, and you see this guy sitting on a checkup bed with a sheet draped all around him, and he's got these white feathery wings that are all tied up with belts or something. And he says, "You may cut them off, but you'll never stop me." The camera pans around to his eyes, which are full of flames, and then the flames take over the entire screen and the end credits start (kind of like in The Devil's Advocate). Then Lucifer/Squall dude breaks the belts around his wings and walks triumphantly through the flames, sheet and all, etc. etc. His wings were pretty small, maybe only three feet long, but they were very nicely rendered in my head.

I also dreamed, between the 7:05 alarm beepy and the 7:10 one, that

caitirin told me to go back to bed and she'd take me into work at 10:00. It was rather hard to get up after that ¬_¬

But now I'm awake ^_^
