Haibane Renmei cosplay

I've been trying to find a decent picture of the outfit I want to wear if caitirin and I cosplay Haibane Renmei for the anime con in Manchester this fall, but it's hard to find any. I want to wear Rakka's winter dress. She's always wearing a coat over it in the anime, though...

I don't think I'd do the coat, though, and I might fudge the shoes, because I don't know what I'd do for the boots. I actually have boots like that which are pale blue, but not brown ^^;; The dress is really cute, though, and has nice little white cuffs. First I was thinking of doing Hikari, because she's the only one whose hair I could mimic effectively... but her clothes are just like a schoolgirl outfit, and where's the fun in that? I was also thinking of doing Nemu, but I don't like her clothes that much either. So I'm going with the ones I like, even if I don't have the right hair. I might pin it up or something.

Wow, they totally would! I wonder if I should spend that much on them, though... it would be nice to have some taller boots.
