Since I don't have my Medieval Epic and Romance class this afternoon, I determined that I would go home and get started on the paper that's due for that class on Monday. I checked my LJ as I normally do, then ventured over to DeviantArt to check my list of watched artists. And one of them drew some Paradise Kiss* fanart. In the post, they also linked something to do with the anime, which I didn't know existed. I figured it would be a preview or an official site or something, so I went to see.

It was an entire episode. And there are more.

This is very very bad for me. I must not watch pretty anime on my computer instead of writing about Roland. *shuts down her browser firmly*

This only has to be 4-5 pages, and the subject interests me. Man, my motivation is so bad lately ^^;; Oh well. Off to work I get.

*a short manga series that I quite liked for it's unique designs, beautiful and intricate drawings, and plot that may have bordered on soap opera, but thankfully didn't go over the brink. How do you do those hover-over footnote things, anyway?

YES. I watched the first one before I could stop myself. Is pretty. Not SO fantastic animation, but pretty.

What are you writing about Roland? I'm assuming its the Roland that died in a rearguard action while his king and a traitorous (uncle?) were heading back to France from Spain...

Yep, that's the one! Traitorous step-father, actually. Charlemagne was his uncle ^_^ I'm writing about Roland and Oliver's relationship, and their argument where Oliver was all "Man, you better blow your horn and get us some help, because we're all screwed otherwise." And Roland was all "Hah! And damage my reputation?" I'm writing about how neither one of them was the "right" one or the "wrong" one, and how their conflict makes the story less black-and-white in terms of right and wrong.

Ooooh! Paradise Kiss! If I ever get another high speed connection, I'll take the link to that. ^_^

Oh, I suppose I should be motherly and say, "Turn off your browser and work on your paper!" *laughs*
