In order to avoid doing homework, I scanned a bunch of stuff and uploaded it. Most of it is from last year's Nano, which only a couple of you got to see in person in my notebook. There's one or two other things, too.

First off, the Nano characters. I inked half of these one day while waiting for somebody to show up for her appointment at the Writing Center, which she never did. I didn't get around to inking the rest of them.

Hazu, the main kid. The text = Hazu.

Lucy, his friend, younger-sister-figure, and neighbor.

Cane, the Government Operative (both Hazu and Lucy were merchant class), who has bad hair and ended up way too much like Aoshi. He would have had an interesting boyfriend named Simon if I had written it, and that, his only bit of interestingness, is [livejournal.com profile] caitirin's fault.

Fior, a knife-wielding native of the planet's surface (everyone else lived in the floating cities) and destined, but never written, to get together with Lucy.

Now for some bigger ones.

Hazu, standing on the edge of a city level where it's all windy.

Lucy, doing the same. I tried to give them neat clothes. The non-government class people wore bright colors; the government class wore black and white.

Now onto non-Nano stuff.

Kishi, who needs skin shading because he is Teh Sexy Navajo Werewolf. Belongs to [livejournal.com profile] caitirin (and Flynn).

Auber, from [livejournal.com profile] _melisande_'s RPG. He's kind of albino-ish. Almost white hair, very fair, prone to sunburn and freckle and can't see very well. He goes *BLUSH* He's also wet here.

And finally, Calder, also from [livejournal.com profile] _melisande_'s RPG. I drew this a few days ago in an attempt to convince myself that I can in fact draw something other than extremely girly men. It was mostly a physique exercise, and so I could see what his hair ought to look like. He don't need no FEET. Or arms either, apparently. Excuse the lined paper; I thought I could fix that in Photoshop but my trick didn't work.

I like his face as well. One idea for you (and this may be easier said than done, cause I can't draw at all XD) To make him look less girly (not that he does now) maybe if you give him broader shoulders and less of a waist. Make him more square?

Love youuuu

I'm glad you like his face ^_^ I thought I gave him broader shoulders than I normally do *laughs* but you're totally right about the waist. It's just that I don't really know how men's waists look at all >_< Need me some anatomy books or something. Thanks for your advice, it's still really good :)
