A lot of the time, I find that editing my papers is just a matter of changing my thesis around to match what I've written. That's one good thing about advanced writing, in grad school and such: you don't have to worry about the "OMG THIS IS MY THESIS" line. You can have a "This is sort of what I'm trying to say" glob of text, as long as it's an academic glob of text.

Fear me and my paper-wasting as I forget to put in page numbers.

I put on toe socks now. Whoa, they feel funny O.o
