elabyQuick post, because I must away ere break of day to bed to read with my wife! I probably did less Creative Boot Camp work than I should have - one slightly-more-detailed-than-chibi drawing and one page of worldbuilding notes for a, well, world I'm building) but I had an utterly fantastic day. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
caitirin and I went down to Fort Foster where my dad's the gatekeeper, and we brought him a muffin and had a picnic under a beautiful young maple tree. The weather was idyllic and I read The Two Towers pretty much from noon until 4:00 while caitirin knitted and napped on a blanket in the grass :3 Some guys played bagpipes atop one of the concrete fort structures, and little kids climbed up to dance in front of them. Then we walked down on the beach, where the tide was at its lowest, and the wave-ribbed sand stretched out practically forever. I think you could've walked across the cove to the pier behind Captain Simeon's. We found a big crab down in the shallow water, and we took some pictures of him (or her) scurrying about.
I had soba noodles for dinner, andcaitirin was watching Bleach on the computer, which is awesome, so I didn't pay much attention to my creative things XD But I'm happy.
