astillac's watercolor pencils to color her. I liked them so much I bought a set of my own :3

Snufkin :D He's a traveler, and he leaves Moominvalley in the fall every year to go journeying in the south. This icon is bymaddeinin. It's very autumny to me, and the coloring is just gorgeous. I also love the little reflections under his feet, like he's walking on a wet road. It's a little bit of a bleak icon, but Snufkin is so all about living at your own pace that anything where he figures in makes me happy.
I made this one :3 Van Helsing wants you to use your brain! This is the scene from Dracula where he's talking to his students about syphilis. Van Helsing is an incredibly cool character, and I adore Sir Anthony Hopkins's portrayal of him - it fits the movie, half serious and half ridiculous. He's such a fabulous actor, never needing to steal the spotlight but owning every scene he's in. Besides, Van Helsing looks great in that color yellow XD
Bymerlin_emrys! Utena collides with Wicked in the most awesome way. This is an image from the last episode's ending credits *armwaving* and the lyric from "Defying Gravity" is so full of freedom and breaking away and together they're magic.
This icon was made bysemyaza :) It looks almost like embroidery to me, and I love the symmetricity of the wings and the gold-on-black. It's one of the few icons that I have just because it's beautiful, not because it's from anything.
Hoooolmes XDicons_liek_woah makes the most fantastic icons, doesn't she? I love this one, because Brett and Burke look so incredibly Paget-like here. (Witness: From the same story, no less!) And it's obvious that Holmes took Watson's arm, which is charming and squeeful and bweeeee XD

And Anthony Hopkins was the only thing I liked about Coppola's Dracula. He seems to be the only actor to date who realised that Van Helsing was...well, a little bit insane XD
I would join in, but I only recently did an icon squee post and I fear being annoyingly repetitive.
