Holmes dreams, again

YAY, return of the Holmes dreams! I'm not quite sure whether this was a dream or a half-asleep daydream, but at any rate, it was very nice.

For those of you excited about the new movie, you'll be happy to hear that this was solidly RDJ-Holmes and Jude Law-Watson, and was actually more like I think they'd be than how I think canon H&W are. It was very short, but the image stuck with me, so there you go.


So you remember how in some interview Robert Downey Jr. said that Holmes and Watson occasionally sleep in the same bed? Well, they were, in this dream. Holmes woke up with night terrors as a result of the cocaine, and Watson sat up and gathered him against his chest, saying "gently, gently." That was all. It was enough for me, though :)

I unfortunately do not remember whether they were wearing nightshirts or what. But I'm pretty sure there were blankets involved.

I envy the both of you your Holmesdreams so very much *sigh* The last time I dreamed about anything even remotely fannish, it was something like two years ago. I was kissing the Joker, and it was, bizarrely, kind of the hottest thing ever (I virtually never dream about anything romantic/sexual either, so that night was some kind of weird two-for-one. In a good way, though). But never anything remotely so lovely as H/W cuddles, nightshirted or otherwise. Fortunate ladies, the both of you!

It was not fascinating so much as weird. Very weird *shakes head* Your subconscious is clearly a far lovelier place than mine, acushla ^_^ And I agree with Random--it would make a very lovely drabble...someday. When it is not November.

Oh, man, the wanting-to-write-fannish-things right now is so strong, and it's only going to get worse as the month goes on XD I would like to try to drag a canon-ish drabble out of it, rather than a movie-verse (at least until I see the movie!) which would make it much harder. But I love a challenge :D

I think your subconscious must contain all kinds of wonderful, considering what comes into your conscious mind from it :)
