I <3 my friends.

These conversations were had over several days, and I've only just now gotten to compile them.

I: Friday
[livejournal.com profile] caitirin, [livejournal.com profile] hak42, and I went to Panera to crochet and write one Friday. Since I was writing, I heard a lot of amusing things out of context.

[livejournal.com profile] caitirin: But I have a big head. Maybe I'll be okay.

[livejournal.com profile] hak42: Good, I have a purpose. I don't, however, have a porpoise.
[livejournal.com profile] elaby: *cracks up*
[livejournal.com profile] hak42: I'm glad you actually laughed at that.

[livejournal.com profile] caitirin: *discussing Harry Potter crochet challenge in which you crochet something to do with your patronus* I think my patronus would be a housecat, but I don't know what I'm going to make. I was thinking of a hat, but I don't want a kitty hat.
[livejournal.com profile] hak42: You don't want a kitty hat? I want a kitty hat! You should make me a kitty hat.
[livejournal.com profile] caitirin: For my patronus? *introducing gesture* This is [livejournal.com profile] hak42, my patronus!

[livejournal.com profile] caitirin: Oooh, it's a pretty purple thiiing! I want it! ... I can't have it.

II: Tuesday
[livejournal.com profile] caitirin, [livejournal.com profile] _melisande_, her sister M and her cousin J and I all congregated at Starbucks to write, and it turned out to be another of those nights.

[livejournal.com profile] caitirin: I only vaguely believe in socks.

M: Listen to this frosting!

M, somewhat later: Can we get back to me now?

III: Friday
On another Friday, [livejournal.com profile] caitirin, [livejournal.com profile] hak42, and I sat around crocheting and writing while [livejournal.com profile] jadefox_32, [livejournal.com profile] torack, and [livejournal.com profile] merrick42 played games.

[livejournal.com profile] hak42: I have coupons out the wazoo. I don't know why I keep coupons in my wazoo, but...
[livejournal.com profile] elaby: *dies dead, head on table*
[livejournal.com profile] hak42: Oh, I broke [livejournal.com profile] elaby.

IV: Saturday
[livejournal.com profile] caitirin, [livejournal.com profile] hak42, and I went to a Community Supported Agriculture fair and then wandered around Portsmouth. On the way back from lunch, we passed a sign that advertised palm readings. It was hanging over a narrow doorway, and we looked in as we went by - it opened onto steep, dark stairs covered by an oriental carpet.

*simultaneously*
[livejournal.com profile] elaby: That looks neat!
[livejournal.com profile] hak42: That looks freaky.
*group hilarity*
