Pretty rocks!

caitirin and I went to the Mustard Seed yesterday, which is a natural/metaphysical shop nearby. It's such a calm, welcoming place :) But they were having a sale on crystals, so got a couple of a kind I had always wanted but thought were a little too expensive. They were definitely within my range yesterday, though, and they're so pretty! The lady at the store said they were called shaman's stones. They're both quartz with other minerals in them.

I got a dark one, which looks like it has a forest inside it:

Thank you! ^_^ The Mustard Seed is in Nottingham now, down a road off Route 125. They have directions on their website, I think :) It's a MUCH nicer location, bigger and more relaxed.

Thank you :) Yeah, I know, isn't that one gorgeous? That one was also like a third of the price of all the other ones. I suppose because it's not clear, but it's SO pretty!

They're mostly just for having :) I like to collect shiny crystals and use them in meditation.

Gah, I need something (maybe a bigger house so I'm not living on top of clutter) to help me meditate. I feel like I'm either cleaning or stressing about cleaning lately. Not very conducive to calm. (ok, had this window open for a few minutes now and I cannot for the life of me figure out if I'm using "conducive" correctly =/)

You are totally using it right :) I feel the same way! We have a little space for it right now that's new with the new bedroom configuration, but we have so much STUFF, omg. It doesn't fit!

Me too. It'd be awesome to have a REAL kitchen table in our kitchen. Crazy dreams. I has them. (our current table. We have a table that sits 6 comfortably, 8 possibly, in the basement =/)
