I guess skip=250 isn't bad at all

I've reached the end of my f'list (filtered to personal journals and one or two important communities *coughHolmesficcough*) but all I've done is read above-the-cut posts and open cut posts and posts to be commented upon in new tabs. I think that after 13 hours in travel and... oh, I don't know how long I've been awake - since 3:45 this morning - my brain and eyeballs will die a horrible death if I try to do anything that requires the firing of synapses. So I'm going to save all those opened tabs for tomorrow after work and watch one of the old Sherlock Holmes movies caitirin got me for Christmas. Possibly the 1931 version of The Speckled Band, which I'm hoping includes eyeliner.

We came out of the airport in New Hampshire with the air wet and 55 degrees, and the sky indigo and vibrant pink, and there were birds doing that wheeling shoal-of-fish thing they do outside my window at work. Tadaima.

Geez, I know, I was really going a bit off the deep end there. The thing was that I've seen old-movie Holmes with eyeliner, but I think it was from another movie. This one definitely had no eyeliner. Or hugs.
