Nano ramblings

I just breached 17,000 words, and the first case is FINALLY closed. Murderer found, suspicions as to goings-on-behind-the-scenes raised, attentions diverted by other more pressing matters. Only six more to go @_@ I may have to reconsider how many murders I'm going to be writing. Or else not worry about getting to everything in November.

So far, Aldridge has:

- Fanboyed Marlowe
- Made himself useful
- Skipped class
- Hit a murder suspect over the head with a plank
- Told Cody to take off his clothes (they were wet and he was liable to catch cold - I'll come to that later)

So far, Cody has:

- Had an accidental encounter with his stepfather (strained relations ahoy!)
- Played somebody else's piano without their permission
- Been elbowed in the face
- Fallen into the Thames (hence the wet clothes)
- Apprehended a murderer
- Been denied permission to investigate said murderer further now that he's already behind bars

Now I just have to get to the murders where they actually find out what's going on! *falls over* Dammit, I left Dracula in the car again. I'm never going to finish that thing!
