_melisande_ has this uber-neat character who really needs a hug...
*grins* And so I dragged Jezebel out of non-character-ness to bug him.
Thomas belongs to_melisande_ and Jezebel is mine ^_^

She's one of my random characters... on my Elfwood page, she's an
ermine. But she's human now. She's an albino, pink eyes, short curly
hair... sexy.

elaby: I like her ^_^ I use her when I'm doing random chat stuff.
Thomas-*eyes her*
Jezebel - *flops down next to him, in lots of skirts and bare arms and bare feet*
Thomas-do you always wander around with no shoes?
Jezebel - When I'm inside. And often when I'm outside. Unless it's cold.
Thomas- interesting.
Jezebel - Do you always frown?
Thomas-usually
Jezebel - Why?
Thomas-why not. DO you always smile?
Jezebel - Not always... but I don't always frown, either. Gets you down after a while *elbows him playfully*
Thomas-*rubs his side* When there is nothing to be happy about, why smile?
Jezebel - ... *gives him the O_o look* Don't you ever have anything to be happy about?
Thomas-Not usually. Although I suppose I don't try to find anything to be happy about either, it's not worth the energy.
Jezebel - Geez... you don't WANT to be happy?
Thomas-*uncomfortable* it's not so much that, I guess... i mean, why?
Jezebel - *grins and mimics him* Why not?

Thomas-well...*looks
determined to win this argument* happiness will get me no where for one
thing, a smile will not get you anything, you have to
work...and...*ponders*
Jezebel - But doesn't being happy make work so much less... tedious?
Thomas-*shrugs* work is work
Jezebel - *eyes him* You're a conundrum.
Thomas-how so?
Jezebel
- Well... I've never known anyone who didn't even WANT to be happy.
Just on the principle that being happy takes too much work. I've known
people who weren't happy... but they wanted to be.
Thomas-*sadness, tries to hide it* there are other things in life
Henry-*has found left-over halloween candy* yah, like lollipops
Jezebel - ... If you say so. *watches him* It's not that hard, you know.
Thomas-*glares at Henry as he walks by* I don't think you understand!
elaby: HAHAHAHAHA
elaby: *didn't catch that*

elaby: Yeah ^_^ I thought he meant he liked lollipops.

- Like... *pulls off one of her many bracelets, a silver one* Like if I
give you this, just because I like you... isn't that a nice feeling?
*holds it out to him*
Thomas-*takes it, turns it in his hand* You have no reason to give me anything.
Jezebel - See, that's what I mean. I don't NEED a reason.
Thomas-*looks confused* but why would you give it to me?
Jezebel - Just because I wanted to. To make you happy. 'Cause people DO that.
Thomas-no one has ever just done something to make me happy.
Thomas-are you sure people do that?
Jezebel - Well... *stumped* Yes. I just did.
Thomas-*at a complete loss* but...but...I think you'll have to explain this again
Henry-*wanders
back through and hands THomas a lollipop, trying to help Jezebel prove
her point, that people do just do things to try and make others happy*
Jezebel
- *laughs* All right. I gave you the bracelet (it could have been
anything else, you see... but that's what I had on me) just because I
wanted to. Not for any alterior motive. Because I wanted to make you
feel happy. See? Henry gets it ^_^
Henry-*wanders out, smiling over his shoulder*
Thomas-But
it's yours, why would you want to get rid of it, why would you want ot
make me happy. You know nothing about me, maybe I don't deserve
happiness
Jezebel - EVERYONE deserves happiness. *looks at him like
that's obvious* I mean... if the bracelet were some huge important
thing to me, an heirloom or whatever, I wouldn't have given it to you.
So you don't have to worry about that. I don't want to get RID of it...
I want YOU to have it.
Thomas-oh. Just because? Really?
Thomas-*unclasps a chain from around his neck* then I want you to have this *holds it out to her*

Jezebel - Yes. Really. *blinkblinks and then takes the chain* Thank you ^_^ What's your name?
