Ghost Hunters

We've got the first DVD of Ghost Hunters from Netflix! It's really awesome :) Has anybody seen most of the episodes, or do you guys generally catch ones here and there? Since I don't have cable, I never know if they show new ones on a schedule or if they repeat them at weird times or what.

The thing is, we've only seen two episodes and we're wondering if it's just that it's only getting started... but there's a lot of bickering that goes on between crew members O_o Does this continue? I figure it's because sometimes they don't find anything in their investigations and they need to fill the screen time with something, so they show the behind-the-scenes tension and... plumbing! That part's kind of funny, actually XD

So for people who have seen a lot of episodes - is the show pretty much half-and-half crew interaction and paranormal investigation?

We also got a DVD of Mythbusters :D YAY 'SPLOSIONS. Adam and Jamie rock XD

They do indeed rock. Everyone on that show rocks. Every single person that has ever appeared on camera for any length of time for that show ROCKS!

Now you can see why Neko and I were so stoked that we got to speak with them and shake hands and such after their presentation here...

And yes, I've seen most of the episodes. They (at least used to) do new ones Weds @ 9pm, usually with the previous week's episode run right before it.

This goes on in differnt ways, as they are trying to show the whole picture, both the ghost hunting, and what the team is like, so you know they are all real people making this analysis. Coming seasons two, I think, they do two cases an episode so they cut that down some.

Do keep watching, the people drama to me just got fun.

Hope you enjoy them, they do get some good stuff time to time.

Yeah, it was more about the ghosts and less about the in-team drama early on. I still watch it because I find it the paranormal stuff interesting, but I tend to mute it and make tea or something during the 7th-grade girls room in-fighting.

But! When they do find something interesting, it is typically VERY interesting (not to say it's necessarily really spooks, you know, but if you assume these guys are on the up-and-up...). I forget some of the good places they went in the first season - Eastern State Penitention is a fun episode, I think that's first season.

It is a good show! I love it! BUT there is some bickering and other stupid stuff that goes on that I always associate with reality type shows. However, don't let that detract from the niftiness of what they're doing! They get a lot of really fantastic results! And I like the way they go about getting those results, and overall it's really, really good.

I love mythbusters, too! Isn't it fun?

When I first read this, I got all excited because I thought you were talking about Ghost Hunt which is an anime and which is highly recommended by some people on my f'list, and I thought it was out on DVD, and well ... never mind. *laughs*
