Happy Winter Solstice :)

Happy Winter Solstice and Yule yesterday! We had a wonderful day making and decorating cookies with _melisande_ and hak42. We drank wassail and played video games and I discovered that I like soy milk!

I don't have to go to work until Wednesday, and then on Thursday I get to go out to lunch with my coworkers. And on January 4 we'll have our holiday pot-luck, which was postponed due to all the snow last Thursday, and I'll finally find out who my Secret Santa is! They got me all sorts of really neat stuff - an ornament made out of a milkweed husk, a candle spell, Dragon's Blood incense, and a beautiful stone incense dish. It's really interesting, because I didn't know anybody knew I was into that kind of stuff :) I've been reading books at work since early fall, but I've tried to be discreet about it.

We're attempting to go snowshoeing and cross-country skiing today!
