That's a LOT of LJ posts

Managed to make it back through all the LJ posts I missed while at my parents' house over Christmas. Doesn't mean I commented on any, but I read them, at least ^^;;

Christmas was very nice. Christmas eve we went to my uncle's house as per tradition (which we didn't get to do last year as my parents lived in The Boonies) and I got to see my cousin and my uncle and his significant other, which was very nice. Also got to meet my cousin's husband (perhaps met him once before?) and their very excitable puppything. It was fun. We went looking at lights after that :)

We had a turkey for Christmas dinner, which my mum wanted and which we'd never had for Christmas before. It was really good ^_^ Their appliances in the new house are all shiny and cool.

Christmas loot report: Clothes (professional-type clothes, even - two pairs of nice pants, a bunch of sweaters and shirts and otherwise good interviewing things, a couple of sweatshirts bought the day after Christmas), the last 3 DVDs of Gankutsuou (OMGSQUEEmustwatch), some really pretty earrings I had been ogling up in The Boonies, Eldest (the second Eragon book), some fuzzy warm fleecy socks, bath thingies, chopsticks, one of those ceramic candle melty things... and probably more stuff I'm forgetting. caitirin and I wowed everyone with our soup-mix-in-a-jar presents and the bath bombs we made :) Also, our salsa was deemed "Better Than Newman's" by my dad and uncle. Score!

That's all the excitement. Was pretty exhausted for most of the days surrounding Christmas. Still no laptop! *awaits it patiently*

Very glad Caitirin is home, as I missed her very much. Off to play Zelda :3
