Five things that Anthy would /never/ tell anyone except Utena.
- “I did it on purpose.”
- That sometimes it felt like the glass walls of the rose garden were pressing closer and closer and the vines of thorns were growing under her skin, and just when she was sure they’d come out her eyes and mouth, Utena would open the door and the sun would shine and she could breathe.
- That she believed in her brother all the way up until she knew heard frightened he sounded at the idea of what would happen when Utena opened the Rose Gates.
- "I truly want to kiss you."
- That sometimes, she really enjoyed being Mamiya.
Five times that Sanosuke wished that he had kept his big mouth shut
- When Kaoru was having Kenshin move some crates in the store room and Sanosuke commented, "I can move ten times that much!" Kaoru made him do all the lifting after that.
- When he asked Saitou, "Are you nervous? You're smoking more than usual," and Saitou put out his cigarette on Sano's forehead.
- When Kaoru refused to feed him for three days and got Tae to ban him from the Akabeko because he'd insulted Kaoru's teppan yaki.
- When he told Misao that Aoshi was WAY too old for her and she cried and cried and then yelled at him whenever she saw him for days.
- When he was a little drunk and asked Kenshin how "that girl you knew before you were rurouni" was in bed. Kenshin didn't say anything, and that was worse than being yelled at.

Five times Simon has turned down romantic overtures (and who they were being made by)
- At the cat house where he had gone to collect (i.e. drag away) his gang members when he was a train robber, he pulled his gun on a woman who put her hand down his pants. She took it out again.
- After he became a vampire, he met a woman who sold flowers from a cart outside of one of the places he would try to sell his elixirs. They became close friends and she was interested in him, but the only time she said anything about it, he made it clear he wasn’t interested back. They continued to visit each other until she died in her 80’s.
- Once, after several years tolerating each others’ presence, Carmen was very drunk and tried to pin Simon on the floor. Simon slugged him and spent a few weeks feeling very disturbed.
- In the 1980’s, some teenage girl wearing a huge t-shirt with Madonna on it and orange leg warmers tried to get him to buy her a hot sausage sub. Simon told her he was too old for her and what was she doing out of school on a Thursday at noon anyway?
- A guy in a bar tried to pick him up after Cai cajoled him into playing his violin. Simon turned him down politely and Cai laughed for the next few hours.
Five things Gideon actually likes about his Goth Phase.
- One half of a poem
- He experimented with hair dye during this time and found out exactly what colors and combinations he likes best
- Going to dance clubs
- How he looks in eye shadow
- The fact that he came out of it with a better understanding of himself
