I <3 my tablet
Mar. 28th, 2007 08:45 pmBeen playing with my tablet tonight, trying out the "blendy" style that people work with most of the time when they color things by computer (rather than cell-shading, which many people say they have a hard time doing). I'd say this technique does come out looking better more easily.
So I colored that picture of Theo from a while ago. Theo is my past Nano character who keeps knocking about in my brain insisting that I do things with him. I am a bad lazy writer.
Unfortunately, the scanned picture I had was pretty small. Boo. Oh well!
Doing the colors is rather like sculpting. I used the "smudge" tool a lot.

I left the color palettes on there because I thought they looked cool :3

Date: 2007-03-29 12:03 pm (UTC)I think, between being on the phone with my dad and not doing much during that time, it took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Probably closer to 2 1/2. I started at 6:30ish and ended at 9:00ish.
