Okay, so I went on to Gaia and it wouldn't let me load some things unless I ran Firefox in Rosetta mode. I did this, and it let me do what I wanted. So, is there any reason that I shouldn't run Firefox in Rosetta mode all the time? Nothing I've found yet on Apple.com or Google has recommended either way.

Thanks :)

It'll probably be a bit slower in rosetta mode, but I can't think of any reason apart from that not to run in rosetta.

That said, I can't think why a particular site would deman you run in rosetta mode. Maybe you don't have the correct plugins or something ?

Yeah, I was thinking it was slower too. Maybe I just needed to download the plugin in Rosetta mode and it'll work in normal mode now.

The site runs Shockwave for some of its game type stuff, and the Shockwave site it sent me to said you have to run it in Rosetta mode in order for the Shockwave plugins to work. I guess it's just a problem of their own.

Ah, Adobe/macromedia has probably not released an Intel Mac version of the plugin yet.

I think that's exactly the problem.
