This week's batch of icons from various challenges. No winners again. Eh.

The challenge over at utena_hush was "Blood and Smoke," meaning that only red, grey, black, and white could be used in the icons this week. It was a fun challenge, and I like the icons I made :) I imagine two of them will be of particular interest to glr1114 n_n

Mmm, we went swimming ^_^ I feel very relaxed now. Not that I wasn't before, but I was HOT and exhausted after moving huge boxes of files around and filing them all into drawers all day.

I commented on your icons over on caitirin_icons, but will add to it here. :) I did especially notice the Touga icons; of course I grabbed them all, but those and the Akio one were my favorites. I really like #1 the best; the contrast of red, grey and black is just wonderful. Is Yami no Matsuei a manga as well as an anime? Have I read or seen any of it? The name sets off "yaoi" in my brain, but I can't remember. :\ It's pretty.

Hee ^_^ I'm glad you liked the Touga ones. #1 is my favorite too. It seems that he's neglected in that community, which is weird, because usually everybody loves him even if, like me, they think he's an ass ^^;; I liked the Akio one a lot, too. I'm glad you do :)

Yeah, Yami no Matsuei is yaoi (or at least shounen-ai) and there is an anime and a manga. I've made you watch one or two DVDs of the anime, because I bought them after having seen RC's VCDs, which were from China and had incomprehensible English subtitles. The manga is REALLY pretty, but the mangaka ticks me off because she's always going on about how guy/guy love is perverted in her columns, and the characters all act as if it's abhorrent, but they all DO it anyway >_< And it also bothers me because there will be three volumes of idiotic repetitive jokes, and then a half-volume of REALLY cool stuff, then back to the idiocy. I wish she'd use her talent on serious stuff rather than "OMG Tsuzuki likes sweets! Ha Ha!" every installment.

Eh heh ^^;; More than you were asking for, I bet!

:) It IS! I was marvelling about how you can get exercise and get your heart rate up, feel really like you're exerting yourself, but you don't sweat and you don't get hot. It's really neat.
