Including the above, I've learned: About Jeff Buckley, who I only know as the dude with the pretty voice who does Ulalume on the Poe CD merrick42 gave me; Hallelujah is a Leonard Cohen song that was covered by both Rufus Wainwright and Jeff Buckley; the version on the Shrek soundtrack is Wainwright's, but the movie used somebody else's version; I need me some Rufus Wainwright CDs. And some of his dad's, if I can get 'em.

I don't have any yet, unfortunately, but my friend Monty at the Music Hall got me into Rufus Wainright and you're right, he has a really great voice. His father gets played on the River (92.5 FM) quite often, too. Buckley and Cohen are great too, I'll have to check if either of the Wainrights or Buckley are on the Cohen cover cd I have.

I LOVE Wikipedia. After watching Peacemaker Kurogane I went to look up some stuff on Hijikata, and they had an amazing amount of stuff on not only him, but on the other members of the Shisengumi,the history of the Shinsengumi itself, several members of the Choshuu faction, the Ikedaya, and lots and lots of other stuff, just linked from that one article. Wikipedia is amazing.

It really is. I have to go check this stuff out now :) It's written by random people off the internet, I think, so you can either get people who are really into the subject and know a lot, or the possibility of utter bull ^^;; But I've never seen anything that I've found to be wrong.
