I've taken to writing random bits of my novel that I want to write instead of writing in sequence (yes, like everyone's been telling me to do for ages. I can't help forcing myself to write in sequence.) I've written about 750 words today, and I have about 1000 to go before I hit 40K. For the past couple of days, there have just been so many things I want to do instead of write my novel. I'm going to wait until December to do them all, but I thought it might make me feel better to write a list. This will most likely be Holmes-heavy; I'll just warn you beforehand.

Things I Want to Do Once Nano is Over:

- Watch The Hound of the Baskervilles*
- Watch The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes**
- Re-watch The Illustrious Client so I can 1) send it back to Netflix, and 2) once again see Watson threatening to "thrash the skin off" the villain, who had Holmes beaten up, and 3) so I can let caitirin see Holmes be uncharacteristically tender to lower-class Ruined Woman and convince her of his not-always-a-jerk-ness
- Make icons out of screencaps from Basil of Baker Street and Sidney Paget drawings
- Watch those Horatio Hornblower DVDs that _melisande_ lent me sometime before November
- Put the rest of my BBC radio adaptations onto my computer so they can go onto my iPod (this can be done while noveling, but it is somewhat distracting as I need to rename them to match my naming conventions).
- Finish my Holmes drawing meme, in which I hope there will be hugging
