I are sick. *coughack* I'm not quite sure what's up with me, but I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and I have the day off tomorrow to get another type of doctor's appointment if I need to, so I should be okay.

They offered the job at the Humanities Center to someone else. Apparently they had ninety people apply, and they chose someone with extensive fundraising experience. Oh well. I've got an interview for an admin assistant at another place on campus next Tuesday (hopefully I'll feel better by then!). I'm disappointed, but not crushed. The job might have been somewhat out of my league anyway, at this point in my career. *shrugs* Such is life!

OMG, Mr. Rogers is on.

Oh, I know that feeling. Good luck with the admin assistant interview! I've been comforting myself lately by thinking of a story from a friend, who accepted a job he wasn't excited about and found out, very soon after, that a place he did like the look of was trying to recruit him. You never know what might come next.

(And I dunno about you, but I kinda figure anyone who wants a fundraiser isn't looking for me anyhow :-).

Still, it's frustrating. For awhile at least. Hope you have turkey and squashes and about seven kinds of pie next week to look forward to, and some time to sleep in!
