I <3 Holmes actors

Inspired by this awesome picture on DeviantArt, I've done silly little drawings of some of the Holmes and Watson actors in specific scenes I thought were illustrative of their relationship (and interpretation of the characters).

Last night I drew something other than Holmes stuff for once! After I finished the Holmes stuff. I drew Mirai. I'll post the pencils once I've cleaned it up :3

Anyway, on to Holmes chibis being cute.




I really have great affection for all of the actors. We're mostly focusing on Watson here (big surprise!) and I really think the biggest difference between Burke's Watson and Hardwicke's Watson was that Burke Watson spent a lot of the time more worried, more flustered, more desperate for Holmes's approval... where Hardwicke Watson just kind of knew how to deal with Holmes's various moods and nothing phased him too much. It really was a very good way to portray the development of their relationship.

And Vitaly Solomin's Watson is, of course, the most adorable thing ever.

And the bit with the parrot, and then the footprints - it was so funny. And not in a stupid, foot-in-the-bucket-of-water Nigel Bruce kind of way.

I think if I watch any more of these I'll have to break down and buy the set. ^^ I must thank you.

Yes, it's so true! I'm too much of a Watson dork to like watching him act stupid. He's SO CUTE in the Russian ones!
